You are captured by all the projects in the magazines and you want to create them all in the spring.

Sadly reality sets in and decisions based on the feasibility of accomplishing these projects narrows the field down to one or two workable ventures. Now is time for action. Clean up and reorganize your shed or workshop so it is efficient and uncomplicated. Get rid of the clutter to free up workable space and storage. Bear in mind to clean everything. This eliminates contamination and you can carefully check each tool and piece of equipment for disrepair and worthiness. Take the time to fix any broken tools, shelving, counters or tables. You may also take advantage of this time to add on any storage and hooks to make your shed or workshop more efficient and easy to work in.
Take this opportunity of rifling through your stuff to check for any safety hazards. Look for frayed wires, broken pieces, unstable work areas, sharp edges, improperly stored hazardous materials, and other safety dangers. Remedy the situation. This will save potential injuries and illness from occurring in the future.
Use this time at the end of winter to prepare your workshop or shed for the upcoming growing season. Time and money will be saved as you will be organized and have all the equipment you need to finish any project you may start. Making the workspace usable and easy to work in is a must.
